Timothy Taylor’s

Timothy Taylor’s represents the gold standard of cask beer and proudly flies the flag for one of the UK’s great products. Founded in 1858 in Keighley, West Yorkshire, when Timothy Taylor left the tailoring trade to brew beer in a small brewhouse on Cook Lane, the foundations were laid for what has become one of Britain’s most respected breweries.
More than 165 years later…
Timothy Taylor’s remains a Yorkshire family company. That continuity, heritage and independence define who we are. Being family owned allows us to stay true to our long-held beliefs about what makes a great cask ale – even when it takes more time, more care and the finest ingredients to get it right.
Brewed at our Knowle Spring Brewery in Keighley – the site where Timothy Taylor came to live and brew in 1863 and named after the natural spring that sits under it – our beers are a truly authentic craft product.
As a live beer that undergoes secondary fermentation in the cask, each pint requires skill, expertise and attention to detail to brew, store, handle and serve.
The reward is a depth of flavour, balance and drinkability that other beers simply can’t match.
