Keighley Business Awards Announces 2014 date

Following on from the success of Keighley Business Awards’ debut earlier this year, the organisers are pleased to announce the date for the 2014 Keighley Business Awards.

The event will take place on Friday 16 May 2014 at the newly refurbished Victoria Hall, Keighley. A pre-launch event will be held on Tuesday 14 January at Victoria Hall at 7pm where the categories will be revealed and the organisers will be on hand to explain what the criteria is, how people can enter and further information on sponsorship opportunities.

The event steering group is a collaboration of local organisations, bringing a wide range of expertise together to ensure the event is a success and one that will grow year-on-year. It includes; Keighley Town Council Association; Airedale Shopping Centre; Airedale Enterprise Services; Keighley News; Clough and Company Chartered Accountants; Puddle Digital; Leeds City College; CB Digital PR and Bingley Chamber.

The chair of the steering group, Philip Smith, said: “Back in May 2013, we held the first ever Keighley Business Awards which was a triumph and it highlighted the amazing success stories that we have right here in our town.

“We gained great feedback from the event which will be applied to next year’s awards to ensure it continues to grow in size and reputation. We believe the accolade is important for local businesses and there is an amazing feel good factor about it. We urge as many people to come along to the pre-launch night to find out more.”
